Last week I headed into the city – visited the Art Gallery, took a few photos. Seeing how I love a panorama that is today’s 52photo offering. Do you know where I took this from? No prizes for guessing where it is taken from other than the pride that comes from knowing Sydney well enough to work it out yourself.
As often is the case you can see some more in the flickr set – including my first tiltshift attempt and some shoots from an app called SlowShutter. Below is one of the slow shutter images I like – it’s a bit blurry, which will always be something that is hard to avoid but a bit more practice will help too.

You are on the correct side of the city. Too far out though.

The tilt-shift shot of Woolloomoolloo Bay looking over Finger Wharf does look pretty cool, and the technique used is pretty well much perfect.
My only real issue is that in order to really mess with people’s heads and make it look like “Toy Town” it would have been a little better had there been some people in the shot somewhere.
The blur of the tram leaving almost make it looks semi-transparent, as though it were made of plastic or something.
